🆕 Walking the Walk to Honour Those Who Served

On Remembrance Day -- Tuesday, November 11, 2025 -- Ward 6 Councillor, Tom Jackson, attended and participated in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #163. Joining him were his fellow Mountain Councillors and elected officials from other levels of government (from left-to-right in the third photograph above: Ward 7 Councillor Esther Pauls, Ward 6 Councillor Tom Jackson, MP Monica Ciriello, MPP Lisa Hepfner, Ward 14 Councillor Mike Spadafora, and recently elected Ward 8 Councillor Rob Cooper).

Councillor Jackson was particularly honoured to have participated in the ribbon cutting of two Veterans Memorial Crosswalks branded with "Lest We Forget" as well as the unveiling of a "Veterans Way of Remembrance" street sign to be installed near the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #163 on Limeridge Road East.
