🆕Absolutely Floored By The Swansea Apartments Upgrades

Councillor Jackson is pleased to share that, working in conjunction with the outstanding CityHousing management, staff, and the Swansea Tenants Association, the second and third floor of the Swansea Apartments at 801 Upper Gage Avenue have had new flooring installed via Councillor Jackson's Ward 6 Reserve Fund. These two floors are the final floors to receive new, upgraded flooring, bringing to an end the four-year project that has enhanced and beautified all eleven floors that house 240 residents.

In Councillor Jackson's opinion, 801 Upper Gage Avenue is one of the flagship buildings in CityHousing Hamilton's inventory.

Councillor Jackson noted that he is "very proud that the Swansea Apartments have always been a great place for seniors living on the East Mountain and my office will continue to do its best to support necessary upgrades to this 50-year landmark of affordable housing rental units owned by the City of Hamilton.
